Emmie is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where she studied the fields of Africana Studies, Health and International Development Studies. During her undergraduate career, she was awarded over $30,000 to study and conduct independent research using a diverse set of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. She has a passion for international issues and Sub-Saharan Africa, but her job working for a non-profit organization does not generate significant income. Therefore, she is seeking to take on freelance work to produce memos, articles, press releases and other forms of writing. Emmie’s primary skills are in public policy analysis and in documenting the experiences of the marginalized around the world. With coursework ranging from political science and sociology to economics and biology, her interdisciplinary experiences provides the versatility to sort, understand and compile information from a variety of sources.
